holiday experience faq

What forms of payments do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express) and cash. Checks are not accepted at our Santa and Easter Bunny booth.

Can I make an appointment?

Yes! If you would like to make an appointment for photos with Santa or the Easter Bunny click here.

Is an appointment required in order to see Santa or Easter Bunny?

You do not need to make an appointment to see Santa or the Easter Bunny; we offer our photo services on first-come first-served basis.

Do you allow walk-ins?

Of course! Our Santa and Easter Bunny meet and greet our guests on a first-come first-served basis. Just hop in line.

How long does the line get?

The lines can get long towards the end of the season; during these times, the wait can be up to an hour, but we try our best to move it along quickly, without sacrificing the magical experience of meeting Santa or the Easter Bunny. Weekday mornings and early afternoons are often the least crowded, and Sundays are typically our busiest days.

How can I avoid a long line or wait?

We recommend visiting us early in the season. You can also make an appointment to skip the line altogether.

When do we get our photos?

Your photos are printed immediately so you can take them home and enjoy them.

Can I take photos with my phone?

If you are planning on purchasing a photo package with us, then we allow and encourage you to take pictures with your phone!

Can you email us our photos?

We do not currently offer an email package. Instead, we print your pictures for your immediate enjoyment. We also offer digital copies on flash drive or CD for your personal printing convenience.

How do I print the pictures off the CD I purchased?

Almost any place with a photo lab—Walmart, Target, CVS, Rite Aid, Costco, etc.—will be able to print your photos off the CD. We make sure to include a release of copyright so you can print them without any problems. If your home computer has a CD drive or Flash Drive, you can place it in there and use a photo system to print them to your home printer as well.

How does the flash drive/USB work?

We like to think that our flash drives are an incredible deal! When you purchase your initial flash drive from us, we encourage you to bring it back season after season to a reload your new photos for a small reloading fee, instead of repurchasing a new flash drive every year. Once your photos are on the flash drive, stick it into the USB port of your computer to view, save, edit, and use them; many places with photo labs will also accept flash drives for instant printing.

What is a sitting fee?

If you want pictures with different groups or children separately, there is a $5 sitting fee per group. We do not charge an additional fee per person if everyone is in the same photo.

You we pet friendly?

Yes! We’re one of the only holiday experience photo booths in San Diego that is completely pet friendly—as long as your pet is Santa and Easter Bunny friendly, that is.

Can I visit Santa or the Easter Bunny even if I don’t plan on purchasing photos?

Absolutely. It’s free to come visit, we just ask that you do not take any photos with your phone unless you do decide to purchase a photo package from us.

Where are you located at in Grossmont Center?

We are on the west side of the mall, near Target and right in front of See’s Candies in the Macy’s courtyard.

When does Santa and the Easter Bunny take their breaks?

Santa’s gotta have his cookies and the Easter Bunny needs to nibble on her carrots! But we try to give them breaks when it’s the least busy and there is no line. Usually this happens between 2:00-3:00p.m.; breaks are approximately 30 minutes.

Are you open when it rains?

Yes, we are open rain or shine! Our booth is set up at Grossmont Center, an outdoor shopping mall, so if it’s raining, make sure you bring an umbrella to stay dry.
